PTO Benefits and Usage
PTO will be broken down into categories:

PTO-H-Paid Holidays
MD&A observes the following paid holidays:

Thanksgiving Day

Day After Thanksgiving Day

Employee’s Birthday

PTO-V - Employee’s vacation

PTO-E - Emergency **Cannot exceed 40 hours to use.
(3 days or 24 hours) which can be used for sickness, emergencies, sick child, etc.
Requires approval from General Manager
No payouts for unused time.

PTO-D - Doctor’s Visit (for Employee only) **Cannot exceed 40 hours to use.
(3 days or 24 hours) which can be used for sick time with a doctor’s note.
Requires approval from General Manager
No payouts for unused time.

PTO-B - Bereavement **Cannot exceed 40 hours to use.
will continue to include up to 3 days’ pay for the loss of immediate family members.
(Mother, Father, Mother In-Law, Father In-law, Child, Spouse, Brother, Sister)
Special circumstances may be handled on a case by case basis.
No payouts for unused time.

PTO-JD- Jury Duty will be reported separately **Cannot exceed 40 hours to use.
If you receive notice to report for jury duty, you must submit this notice to MD&A within two
business days. Jury duty hours will be paid only for the hours being selected, serving and
the commute time. Times in and out of court must be in writing from the Clerk of Court.
Employees are expected to work the remainder of the day(s) that they are not serving.
